About this wine
Quinta das Maias Branco is a beautifully fresh and expressive Portuguese white from a registered organic, high-altitude estate in the Dão region. Dominated by Malvasia, this classic dry white captures the elegance and freshness that have long defined the finest wines of the Dão, combining bright citrus character with delicate floral complexity and mountain freshness.
Clear and brilliant in the glass, the wine opens with lifted aromas of lime blossom, lemon zest and subtle floral notes. The palate is crisp, structured and refreshing, with lively acidity balancing ripe citrus fruit and gentle mineral character. Wonderfully versatile at the table, it pairs beautifully with seafood, grilled fish, salads and lighter Mediterranean dishes, and while deliciously fresh now it also has the structure to develop gracefully over the next three to four years.
