From high in Argentina’s Uco Valley comes this powerful yet polished red blend—crafted by Finca Sophenia with precision, passion, and a flair for elegance. Synthesis The Blend is their flagship expression, uniting Bordeaux varietals with Argentinian altitude to stunning effect.

Tasting notes

Deep violet in colour, it opens with rich aromas of cassis, blackberry and plum, layered with graphite, cedar, and a hint of violet. The palate is full-bodied yet refined, with dark fruit, velvety tannins, and complex notes of cocoa, sweet spice and tobacco. The finish is long, smooth, and satisfyingly dry.

Perfect serve

Pair with a well-marbled ribeye, slow-cooked short ribs, or an aged hard cheese. This wine benefits from decanting and will shine brightest with food that matches its depth and structure.

Artisan craftsmanship

Made from a blend of hand-harvested Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, grown at over 1,200 metres above sea level in Tupungato. The altitude brings freshness and finesse to the fruit, while 12 months in French oak barrels adds polish and age-worthiness. It’s the pinnacle of Sophenia’s winemaking craft.
