Why we chose it“This is my go-to summer white — proper Sauvignon Blanc character but with a bit of Sémillon weight to round it out. Great value for a fresh Friday night pour.”

About this wine
A crisp and aromatic white from the Bergerac appellation in South West France, this blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Sémillon is fermented in stainless steel at cool temperatures to capture a bright, fresh fruit character. The nose offers lemon, grapefruit and delicate white flowers, while the palate is clean and refreshing with very crisp acidity and a dry finish. A wine that punches well above its price point.
Couleurs d'Aquitaine is a négociant producing wines that celebrate the classic styles of the South West, and this Bergerac Blanc is one of their most approachable. Try it with oysters or grilled prawns, or alongside creamy chicken dishes where its acidity cuts through beautifully.
