The Estate

Vignamaggio is an organic estate with a rich history dating back to 1404. Situated in the heart of Chianti, the estate spans over 400 hectares, with more than 70 hectares dedicated to vineyards cultivated according to organic farming principles. The winery is renowned for producing wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region, combining traditional techniques with modern innovation. 

Tasting Note

Vignamaggio’s sparkling wine is created from a base of Sangiovese rose’ bottle-fermented in the classic ‘methode champenoise’ style for 12 months. Silky on the palate, with flavours of wild rose, ripe cherries and marzipan.
