About this wine

A Cru Fleurie with Grace and Depth

Crafted by Albert Bichot, Fleurie La Madone comes from one of the cru's most celebrated hillside sites, where old Gamay vines thrive on granite-rich soils. This elevated vineyard brings added concentration and finesse, setting La Madone apart as a more serious, age-worthy expression of Fleurie.

In the glass, the wine shows lifted aromas of red berries, floral notes and a gentle spice. The palate is silky and poised, with pure fruit at its core, fine tannins and a long, elegant finish. Beautifully balanced and expressive, it is equally appealing on its own or alongside lighter dishes, roast poultry or classic French cuisine.

About the producer

Maison Albert Bichot was founded in Beaune in 1831 and remains one of Burgundy's foremost family-owned négociant houses, now led by sixth-generation Albéric Bichot. The estate owns 395 acres across 51 appellations, encompassing four prestigious domaines from Chablis to the Côte Chalonnaise. Bichot is also Burgundy's only certified organic négociant, a distinction earned in 2014 that reflects a commitment to sustainable viticulture running through every bottle in their range.
