About this wine
Babylonstoren Chenin Blanc is a lithe, dry summer white that's hard not to love. The nose bursts with inviting notes of white peach, ripe pineapple, and underlying lemon curd, complemented by hints of guava, fresh gooseberries, and Packham pear. The silky smooth palate reveals many layers of supple fruit, with a delicious streak of acidity that brings freshness and focus — ideal for summer drinking.
A total of 10% of the Chenin Blanc blend is aged in Nomblot cement eggs and terracotta clay amphorae, adding unique depth and complexity. The remaining grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks to retain the purity of the fruit flavours. Complements seafood, roast chicken, summer salads, and seasonal quiches. Serve well chilled.
