About this wine
Bold Campo de Borja Shiraz by Bodegas Borsao
Bodegas Borsao is the benchmark cooperative of Campo de Borja in Aragon, working with old-vine Garnacha and international varieties grown in the Moncayo mountain foothills of northern Spain. Zarihs is their Shiraz — a wine that showcases just how powerfully expressive this variety becomes in Spain's extreme continental climate. At 15% ABV it is full, ripe and structured, with aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, black pepper and smoked spice, followed by a bold, warming palate with firm tannins and a long finish.
This is a wine built for robust food: slow-roasted lamb, grilled beef, strong cheeses or a rich winter stew. Decant for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow it to open fully.
