Bratanov Winery works in the Thracian Valley, Bulgaria's largest wine region, stretching across warm southern lowlands, crafting wines from both international varieties and indigenous Bulgarian grapes. This red blend shows the dark fruit profile the region does well: ripe plum, dark cherry and blackberry on the nose, with a medium-bodied palate, soft tannins and a spiced, warming finish.
Pair it with roast lamb, grilled meats, tomato-based pasta or hard cheeses. A characterful and reliable everyday red from an under-explored wine country.
