About this wine

Caspyn Oceanic Gin is the newest addition to the Caspyn family, distilled in small batches in Penzance by Pocketful of Stones and inspired by the rugged Cornish coastline that surrounds the distillery. The much-loved Caspyn recipe of juniper, lemon peel, lemon verbena and elderflower is joined by kelp, sea spaghetti and rock samphire, bringing a gentle maritime lift to a bright, citrus-led gin. The nose is wonderfully fresh with juniper, elderflower and lemon, while orange peel and rosemary open up on the palate before a clean, cool finish that feels like a breath of sea air.

Serve over plenty of ice with a light tonic, a twist of lemon and a sprig of rosemary for a seaside take on the classic G&T, or stir it into a crisp, dry Martini to let the coastal botanicals shine. It is a natural partner for oysters, crab and simply grilled white fish, and makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves Cornwall, the coast or characterful craft gin.
