Artisan craftsmanship

Château Briatte lies in the heart of the Sauternes appellation and uses traditional techniques to craft its wine, including hand-harvesting grapes affected by noble rot (Botrytis cinerea). This natural process concentrates the sugars and flavours in the grapes, producing a wine of extraordinary depth and aromatic complexity. The blend of Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle is aged in oak to bring added richness and structure.
