Why we chose it“Musar Jeune Rosé — Lebanon in a glass of rosé. Fresh, dry and genuinely different from Provence. The Musar family bring their signature character even to this lighter style.”

About this wine
Musar Jeune Rosé is 80% Cinsault from vines of thirty-five years and more, with 20% Mourvèdre, grown on the calcareous soils of Lebanon's Bekaa Valley. It is a vibrant coral in the glass and opens gently with orange, peach and cream. Wild strawberry fills the palate with a lift of rosewater and thyme, and it finishes dry, crisp and beautifully citrus-fresh.
Both varieties go straight to the press and ferment cool in stainless steel, between 18 and 21°C, then rest for three months before bottling. The vineyards are organically certified. Serve it lightly chilled with Middle Eastern mezze, grilled vegetables or anything off the barbecue, and it is lovely on its own as an aperitif.
