Four Generations of Saint-Emilion Grand Cru
Chateau Vieille Tour La Rose is a family-owned Saint-Emilion Grand Cru estate with over four generations of history, encompassing vineyards across Saint-Emilion, Pomerol and Montagne Saint-Emilion. The 40-year-old Merlot and Cabernet Franc vines grow on the northern slopes of Saint-Emilion in sandy soils over clay subsoils. Fermented in traditional concrete and stainless steel vats, the wine is aged in both new and old French oak barrels.
Deep burgundy in colour, the wine releases aromas of intense black fruits, light woodiness and vanilla nuances. On the palate, all the richness and elegance of classic Saint-Emilion unfolds -- complex, full-bodied and supple, reflecting the quality of both vineyard and cellar.
