Artisan Craftsmanship

Hand-harvested from selected premium vineyards, only the finest free-run juice makes it to the bottle. After gentle pressing, the juice was partially settled before entering new and second-fill French oak barrels, where it underwent barrel fermentation and further maturation on the lees. No sulphur was added during ageing, preserving the wine’s integrity and natural character.

Legacy of Constitution Road

Robertson Winery launched the Constitution Road series to honour South Africa’s democratic milestone, with the maiden Shiraz release in 2004 celebrating ten years of democracy. The label symbolises the pillars of the South African constitution—Liberty, Governance, Justice, Equality, and Provenance—values that embody Robertson Winery’s passion and sense of place.
