Craftsmanship

Made from pure Tempranillo grapes sourced from carefully selected vineyards in Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa, the Coto de Imaz Rioja Reserva showcases the best of the region. The bush vines, aged between 35 to 55 years, are low-yielding, producing grapes with superb concentration of flavour balanced by vibrant acidity. After being aged in new American oak barrels for 18 months, the final blend was assembled and bottled. The wine was then aged for a further 24 months in the bottle before release, allowing it to develop its complex character and depth.
