Tasting notes

Amber in hue with complex aromas of dried fig, roasted almond, caramelised orange peel and warm spice. The palate is luscious and velvety, offering flavours of honeyed apricot, walnut and toffee, with a whisper of oak and citrus zest on the finish. Balanced sweetness is offset by gentle acidity, giving it structure and depth.

Perfect serve

Traditionally enjoyed with cantucci biscuits for dipping, it also shines alongside blue cheese, nutty tarts or rich patés. Or simply serve a small glass on its own to savour slowly after dinner.

Artisan craftsmanship

Made from carefully selected Trebbiano and Malvasia grapes, dried naturally on straw mats before pressing. The wine is then aged for several years in small oak barrels known as caratelli, developing its characteristic complexity and mellow richness. Crociani’s Vin Santo is a true artisanal expression of Montepulciano heritage.
