Why we chose it“Cava goes through the same painstaking bottle ferment as Champagne with none of the ceremony. All Macabeo, creamy mousse — chill it hard and serve with jamon and olives.”

About this wine
Diorama Cava Brut is made from 100% Macabeo grown in Spain's DO Cava, producing a straw-yellow wine with a generous stream of bubbles and a persistent, creamy mousse. The nose is bright and inviting, with fresh citrus, grapefruit and a hint of pastry, while the palate is soft and silky with a lively freshness, rounded and generous with a long finish marked by subtle yeasty, creamy nuances.
Cava is Spain's answer to Champagne, made by the traditional method in the Penedès region of Catalonia, and Diorama delivers all that quality at an everyday price. Serve well chilled as an aperitif, alongside a plate of jamón and olives, or with light seafood dishes such as prawns or grilled sea bass.
Where This Wine Comes From
DO Cava is Spain's traditional method sparkling zone, centred on the Penedès hills of Catalonia. Diorama's Macabeo is grown and bottled here, where the second fermentation happens inside the bottle exactly as it does in Champagne.
Macabeo
Catalonia's workhorse white and the backbone of most Cava. Gentle citrus and white blossom, modest in alcohol and generous in freshness.
Traditional Method
The wine takes its second fermentation in the bottle, then rests on its lees. That is where the creamy mousse and the hint of pastry come from.
