Why we chose it

“White Grenache is badly underrated, and Terra Alta grows more of it than anywhere on earth. Time on the lees gives it a creamy edge — try it with grilled prawns or roast chicken.”

About this wine

Terra Alta in southern Catalonia grows more Garnatxa Blanca than anywhere else on earth, and this organic bottling shows why. It is a straw yellow wine with intense fruity aromas of banana and apple, alongside hints of citrus and dried fruit. The palate is fresh and vibrant, with balanced acidity and a mineral thread running through the fruit. Time on the fine lees lends a lightly creamy texture and a long, gently spiced finish.

Diorama farm organically in a region of old bush vines and hot, dry summers cooled by the Mediterranean. Serve it with grilled prawns, roast chicken, or a plate of Manchego and quince. It has enough body to handle richer dishes without ever losing its freshness.

Where This Wine Comes From

DO Terra Alta sits inland in southern Catalonia, above the Ebro valley. It grows more Garnatxa Blanca than anywhere else on earth, on poor soils under long, hot summers cooled by Mediterranean air.

Garnatxa Blanca

Known as Grenache Blanc elsewhere. Naturally low in acid but rich in texture, giving apple, citrus and a distinctly mineral finish here.

Organic Farming

Diorama work without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers, farming old bush vines that naturally keep yields low and flavours concentrated.
