About this wine

El Bandarra Rojo is a classic red vermouth made in Spain from a blend of local wines macerated with over 50 botanicals, and inspired by the lively aperitif bars of Barcelona. Vibrant, smooth and full of Mediterranean sunshine, it strikes a perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness, with notes of ripe berries, orange peel, cinnamon and a subtle herbal finish.

Best enjoyed over ice with a slice of orange and a splash of soda for that true Barcelona terrace experience, or mixed into a Negroni for a delicious twist on a classic. Fun, fresh and effortlessly stylish, it brings Barcelona aperitif culture straight to your glass.

About the producer

El Bandarra was launched in 2014 by the Virgili brothers, Albert and Alex, bottling under their own name a Catalan vermouth their grandfather Fermín had sold by the barrel since the 1960s. Macabeo and Xarel·lo from the Penedès form the wine base, steeped with more than fifty botanicals — a bittersweet, herbal style made for the Barcelona vermouth hour.
