Why we chose it“California Cab at entry price — blackcurrant, soft tannins, easy. Does exactly what it says and costs less than a round of drinks.”

About this wine
Gold County Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich and full-bodied wine from the heart of California, where abundant sunshine and cool nights allow the grapes to ripen slowly for exceptional depth. It delivers layers of dark fruit — blackcurrant, blackberry, and plum — complemented by hints of tobacco, vanilla, and a touch of cedarwood. Firm tannins and balanced acidity lead to a smooth, lingering finish with a slight spice.
Best served at 16–18°C, it pairs wonderfully with grilled steaks, roast lamb, or barbecue meats. It also complements mature cheeses such as cheddar or gouda.
