About this wine
Inkara Shiraz draws from Stellenbosch, the jewel of South Africa's Cape Winelands and home to some of the country's most structured and age-worthy reds. The 2019 vintage shows real depth: deep ruby in the glass with complex aromas of dark plum, blackberry, black pepper and a hint of vanilla from oak maturation. On the palate it is full-bodied and firmly built, with ripe, grippy tannins and a long, warming finish.
A natural partner for grilled lamb, beef rib, mature hard cheeses or a rich tomato-based pasta. With 14% ABV this is a wine built for the dinner table, ideally with time to breathe before pouring.
