About the producer

J. Moreau & Fils is the oldest négociant house in Chablis, founded in 1814 when Jean-Joseph Moreau inherited a wine estate by marrying a local winemaker's daughter. For over two centuries the house has been a cornerstone of the appellation, combining barrel and stainless-steel techniques to craft Chablis that balances traditional richness with the region's distinctive flinty mineral character. Now part of the Boisset family collection, the house vinifies the equivalent of a 200-hectare estate.
