About the producer

Joseph Mellot is a long-established Loire Valley négociant and domaine owner based in Chavignol in the heart of Sancerre country. With family winemaking roots in the region traceable to 1513, Mellot cultivates vineyards across Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé, Menetou-Salon, and Saumur Champigny. The wines are prized for their purity, mineral precision, and authentic expression of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir from the Loire's chalky and silex soils.
