Why we chose it“Madiran is the South-West’s brooding Tannat-based red — dark, structured, rustic in the best way. This organic version has real character. Brilliant with duck confit or cassoulet.”

About this wine
Deep and brooding in the glass, this organic Madiran offers intense aromas of blackcurrant, ripe plums, and subtle notes of cocoa and vanilla. On the palate, it's powerful yet refined, with robust tannins that mellow into a velvety texture, balanced by flavours of dark berries, liquorice, and a touch of earthy spice. A classic expression of the region, crafted from Tannat — the grape that defines Madiran's bold, structured character.
Serve at 16–18°C after decanting for at least an hour to allow the wine's structure and complexity to fully unfold. A natural pairing for roast lamb, duck confit, or hearty dishes like cassoulet. Full-bodied, rich, and intricately layered — a wine of real distinction from South-West France.
