About this wine
Before Argentina made Malbec famous worldwide, the variety was, and remains, at home in France's Loire Valley, where it is known as Cot. Les Vaublins Cot Malbec showcases this Loire expression: medium-bodied with a deep ruby colour and inviting aromas of ripe plum and blackberry, layered with soft spice and a touch of gentle oak.
On the palate the wine is smooth and well-structured, with supple tannins, balanced acidity and a lingering finish that speaks clearly of the grape's heritage. A versatile partner for grilled red meats, beef casseroles or hearty French country cooking.
