Produced by Perahigos, Lidia is a pure expression of Rufete from the remote Sierra de Salamanca. Here, old vines grow on granite soils at altitude, lending the wine its distinctive freshness, aromatic lift and gentle structure. Perahigos is dedicated to preserving these historic vineyards and crafting wines that speak clearly of place rather than power.
In the glass, Lidia is refined and expressive, with bright red berry fruit, subtle floral notes and a lightly savoury edge. The palate is elegant and poised, with fine tannins and a fresh, mineral thread that carries through to a graceful finish. It's a characterful, food-friendly red that showcases the finesse possible from this lesser-known Spanish appellation.
