Why we chose it“Bonarda is Argentina’s own red grape — soft, dark-fruited and easy-drinking. Los Haroldos do it well. Good if you want Malbec character but want something a bit different.”

About this wine
Bonarda is Argentina's most widely planted red grape variety, yet it remains one of the country's best-kept secrets. Los Haroldos draws fruit from estate vineyards in Mendoza, where high altitude and intense sunshine create wines of real depth. Deep ruby in colour, this wine opens with aromas of ripe plum, dark cherry and violets, leading to a generous, medium-bodied palate with soft tannins and a spiced, lingering finish.
Approachable and food-friendly, it pairs naturally with grilled meats, lamb chops, hearty pasta and strong cheeses. A versatile red that rewards those willing to look beyond Malbec for their Argentine fix.
