Why we chose it“Los Haroldos Estate Malbec — a step up from their standard range, with more concentration and oak complexity. Dark, velvety and very satisfying.”

About this wine
The story of Los Haroldos begins in 1939, when Don Lolo Falasco laid the foundations for what is now one of Argentina's leading family-owned wineries. Today, run by the third and fourth generations, the estate focuses on premium vineyard sites across Mendoza, including the Uco Valley, one of the region's most respected sub-regions, where cooler nights and high altitude help preserve structure and clarity.
This Malbec is aged for six months in American oak barriques, adding subtle complexity without overshadowing the fruit. On the nose, ripe red fruits lead, followed by notes of smoke and chocolate. On the palate, elegant tannins and gentle acidity support brambly fruit, sweet smoke and a savoury, almost meaty edge, an excellent match for barbecued dishes and wood-fired cooking.
