About this wine
M. Chapoutier Deschants Saint-Joseph 2022 is a vibrant expression of Northern Rhône terroir from the steep slopes of Saint-Joseph, where meticulous sustainable viticulture reflects the unique qualities of the granite-laden soils. It opens with aromas of blackberries, raspberries and plums, layered with cracked black pepper, violets and a subtle touch of smoky minerality.
Silky tannins and fresh acidity lead to a lingering, well-balanced finish that is both elegant and satisfying. Serve at 16 to 18°C alongside roasted lamb, grilled duck breast, a rich ratatouille or artisan charcuterie and soft cheeses.
