One of the great names of France's Rhône Valley, based in Tain-l'Hermitage since 1808 and the largest vineyard owner on the legendary hill of Hermitage. Since Michel Chapoutier took charge around 1990 it has become one of the most awarded wineries in the world, with more perfect 100-point scores than almost any other producer.

Two things stand out: it was an early pioneer of biodynamic farming, converting its vineyards from 1991 when the practice was still seen as eccentric; and since 1996 every single label has carried the wine's name in Braille — a world first — reflecting a commitment to accessibility.

We offer a 365-day return policy — a full year to return unopened bottles, which is far longer than most independent merchants. To be eligible, items must be unopened, unused and in their original packaging. Return postage is arranged by you (we recommend a tracked service), and once we've received and inspected the return we'll refund your original payment method within five business days. Sale items and gift cards can't be returned.

Every order is packed in specialist wine packaging built for safe transit, so breakages are rare — and fully covered when they do happen.
