Crafted in the heart of the Cognac region, Maxime Trijol VSOP is a beautifully balanced expression, showcasing the house's heritage of artisanal distillation and meticulous ageing. Made exclusively from eaux-de-vie sourced from the prestigious Grande and Petite Champagne crus, this Fine Champagne Cognac embodies both finesse and depth.

Aged well beyond the minimum required for a VSOP, it offers a rich and inviting nose with notes of dried apricots, toasted almonds and warm vanilla. On the palate it is smooth and elegant, revealing layers of soft spice, ripe apple and pear, and a touch of oak. The finish is long, warming and gently spiced, with a refined sweetness that lingers gracefully. Ideal for sipping neat or as a sophisticated base for premium cocktails.

About the producer

Maxime Trijol distils at Saint-Martial-sur-Né in the heart of Cognac, where the family's first still was installed in 1859. Six generations on it remains independent, with Jean-Jacques Trijol joined by his daughters Anne-Sophie and Pauline. Unusually the house does everything itself — growing the vines, distilling in its twenty-two traditional stills, then ageing and bottling on site.
