Mellow Corn is a classic American straight corn whiskey produced by Heaven Hill Distillery in Kentucky — one of the USA's great whiskey houses. As a corn whiskey, it must be made from a mash of at least 80% corn, and Mellow Corn uses an even higher proportion, giving the spirit its characteristic sweetness and approachable character. Bottled at 50% ABV with genuine age statement credentials, it represents remarkable value for a straight American whiskey.
Pale amber in the glass with a warm, inviting nose of sweet corn, vanilla, caramel and subtle toasted oak. The palate is full-bodied and sweet-natured — rich corn character, butterscotch and a warm spiced finish. Excellent sipped neat, on the rocks, or used as the backbone of classic American cocktails like a Corn Whiskey Sour.
