Why we chose it“Pasión de Bobal — Valencia’s native red grape at its most characterful. Dark, earthy and plum-rich. One of Spain’s most interesting reds and still undervalued.”

About this wine
A Bold Expression of an Underrated Spanish Grape
Pasion de Bobal is crafted from 60-year-old bush-trained vines in the heart of Utiel-Requena, showcasing Spain's hidden gem grape -- Bobal. Grown organically and fermented in stainless steel before gentle ageing in French oak, it balances rustic charm with refined structure. Rich in personality, it offers vibrant notes of ripe black cherry, wild berries and subtle hints of cocoa and spice, all supported by soft, rounded tannins and a smooth, elegant finish.
Ideal with grilled lamb, hearty stews or Manchego cheese, it's a characterful, excellent-value alternative to better-known Spanish reds. Sustainably farmed and full of authentic terroir expression.
