Peregrino Merlot is a generous, fruit-forward red from Chile's celebrated Central Valley, a sun-blessed growing region where warm temperatures and rich soils consistently produce ripe, full-flavoured wines that over-deliver for the price. Approachable, smooth and satisfying from the very first glass.

The nose opens with inviting aromas of ripe plum, red cherry and warm blackcurrant, with a subtle hint of mocha and gentle spice. On the palate it's supple and well-balanced with soft, velvety tannins and a smooth, fruit-filled finish. Pairs effortlessly with roast chicken, beef bolognese, lamb chops, mild cheeses or a generous charcuterie board.

Excellent service

I had this wine at over 3 times the price in a hotel in the south, so thought I'd try it at home. A Chilean Merlot is usually very drinkable and I wasn't disappointed. But the important thing is the service from the Wine Shop which is first class. I will definitely be ordering again.
