About this wine
Quinta da Pedra Alta is one of the Douro's most exciting emerging estates, holding the remarkable distinction of having three original 1758 granite markers from the historic demarcation of the Douro wine region on its land. Under winemaker João Pires and Australian consultant Matt Gant, the quinta produces structured, characterful wines that show how versatile the Douro can be beyond Port and big reds.
This 2022 Reserva Branco is a dry white of real elegance: citrus, stone fruit and a clean, mineral precision on the palate that reflects the valley's ancient schist soils. Serve chilled alongside grilled fish, seafood, white meats or mild cheese. A genuinely exciting Portuguese white from a region and estate that are very much on the rise.
