Scott Family Estate is a single-vineyard estate in the Arroyo Seco appellation of Monterey County, California. The estate takes advantage of the region's unique gravelly, free-draining 'kidnapper soils' and the intense afternoon winds that funnel through the Arroyo Seco canyon, creating one of California's coolest growing environments. These conditions produce Pinot Noir of exceptional elegance, restraint and Burgundian character — a counterpoint to the richer, warmer-climate styles found elsewhere in California.
