About this wine
Sella Majoli Rosato Coste Della Sesia 2024 is an elegant northern Italian rosé crafted from Nebbiolo in the cooler foothills of Piedmont. Produced by historic Tenute Sella, it captures a fresher, more delicate expression of this noble grape, with bright fruit, crisp structure and subtle alpine finesse. Nebbiolo grapes are harvested by hand before being crushed and de-stemmed, with a short six-hour maceration in the press allowing gentle colour and flavour extraction, followed by soft pressing and cool fermentation in stainless steel at 18°C, then six months in tank with three months on the lees to build texture.
Pale salmon pink in the glass, with aromas of wild strawberry, redcurrant and rose petals, alongside a subtle herbal lift. The palate is fresh, with juicy berries, crisp acidity and a clean, dry finish with a slightly savoury note. Ideal as an aperitif, or paired with light starters, appetisers, feta, goat's cheese, grilled seafood or Mediterranean salads.
