Why we chose it“Saint-Bris is a unique Loire appellation — the only AOC that uses Sauvignon Blanc in Burgundy. Simonnet-Febvre’s version is fresh, citrusy and genuinely interesting.”

About this wine
Simonnet-Febvre Saint-Bris Sauvignon Blanc is a genuine rarity, the only appellation in Burgundy to grow Sauvignon Blanc rather than Chardonnay. Sourced from the Saint-Bris vineyards in the Yonne, it offers a lively, mineral-driven style with aromas of green apple, lime zest and citrus, layered with delicate floral notes and a distinctive flinty minerality.
Bright and refreshing on the palate, with crisp acidity and a clean, persistent finish. A fantastic alternative to Sancerre or Pouilly-Fumé, and equally wonderful as an aperitif or alongside fresh seafood, goat's cheese or asparagus risotto.
