Why we chose it

“Haze does what a lot of cloudy ciders only pretend to — real juicy apple, medium sweetness, no sharp edges. Serve it properly cold and it disappears far too easily.”

About this wine

Thatchers Haze Cider brings a modern twist to traditional Somerset cider, made with Discovery apples to deliver a naturally cloudy, vibrant drink. Its hazy golden glow and gentle sparkle promise refreshment from the very first sip.

Full of juicy apple flavours, this medium cider balances crispness with a soft, mellow sweetness, creating a smooth and easy-drinking style. Perfect for sharing with friends, it's a cider that captures the spirit of Somerset in every glass.

About the producer

Thatchers has made cider at Myrtle Farm in Sandford, North Somerset, since William Thatcher pressed his first apples there in 1904. Four generations have followed, with Martin Thatcher running the business since 1992 and the fifth generation now coming through. The orchards around the farm still supply the fruit, from Katy to the traditional bittersweet Redstreak.
