At The English Whisky Co., we mature some of our fine single malt whiskies in Pedro Ximénez Sherry Casks. These casks are full of beautiful, rich dark sherry before we take delivery, and we couldn’t let that sherry go to waste. We decided to keep it and combine it with our single malt, leaving it to further mature in the casks, resulting in a unique, sweet blend that’s perfect for many occasions.

Tasting Notes

The Norfolk PX Whisky Liqueur opens with bold notes of dried fruits—think raisins, figs, and dates—followed by the sweetness of caramel and dark treacle. The sherry’s rich flavours add syrupy depth, blending seamlessly with the malty whisky. Hints of chocolate and spices like cinnamon and clove balance the sweetness, leading to a smooth, lingering finish. The PX sherry brings a luxurious richness to every sip.
