About this wine

Smooth, Everyday Red from Abruzzo

Tor del Colle Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a versatile and crowd-pleasing Italian red with soft tannins and generous fruit. Expect ripe plum, blackberry and hints of liquorice, wrapped in gentle spice and a smooth, rounded finish. It's an easy match for pizza, pasta or charcuterie.

Made in the Abruzzo region on Italy's Adriatic coast, this Montepulciano reflects the approachable charm the grape is known for. Aged in oak for added depth, it offers excellent value and broad appeal -- ideal for midweek meals or casual get-togethers.

About the producer

Casa Vinicola Botter was founded in 1928 when Carlo Botter and his wife Maria began selling wine in the village of Fossalta di Piave, near Venice. Now in its third generation under Luca, Annalisa, and Alessandro Botter, the family company has grown into one of Italy's largest wine exporters, with a capacity of 23.5 million litres and a range spanning every major Italian appellation. Their own labels — including Cortestrada — capture each region's character with reliability and craft.
