Txakoli (or Txakolina) is the unique wine appellation of the Basque Country in northern Spain, producing light, crisp, slightly sparkling white wines with high acidity and bracing salinity. Made primarily from the indigenous Hondarrabi Zuri grape, these wines are made to be drunk young and fresh.
