Why we chose it

“Fino is the most food-friendly wine in the shop. Bone dry, saline, ice cold — pour it alongside prawns or Manchego and it’s one of the great matches.”

About this wine

A True Taste of Andalusia

From the coastal cellars of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Barbadillo Fino Sherry captures the spirit of southern Spain. Aged under a delicate veil of flor yeast, this dry and refined Fino reveals subtle notes of almonds, green olives, and sea breeze salinity. Crisp and light-bodied, it's the perfect partner to tapas, seafood, or simply enjoyed well chilled as an aperitif.

Founded in 1821, Bodegas Barbadillo remains a family-run house with deep roots in sherry production, balancing tradition with innovation to craft wines of unmistakable finesse and freshness.

About the producer

Bodegas Barbadillo was founded in 1821 in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, the coastal town at the heart of Manzanilla country, and remains family-owned seven generations later. As the largest Manzanilla producer in the entire Jerez region, Barbadillo owns 500 hectares of Palomino vineyards and operates seventeen historic cellars across Sanlúcar. Their wines are defined by the unique sea-salt freshness that only the Sanlúcar microclimate can bestow — benchmarks of Spanish fortified wine.
