Jerez, in Andalucía in southern Spain, is the home of sherry — one of the world's great fortified wines. Made mainly from the Palomino grape on chalky albariza soils, it's aged through the solera system, which blends older and younger wines together over many years. Styles run all the way from bone dry to lusciously sweet.

The main dry styles are Fino and Manzanilla (pale, crisp and delicate, aged under a veil of yeast called flor — serve well chilled as an aperitif), Amontillado (amber and nutty), and Oloroso (dark, rich and full). Palo Cortado sits between the last two. For something sweet, Pedro Ximénez (PX) is intensely rich and raisiny — wonderful over ice cream or with chocolate.

We offer a 365-day return policy — a full year to return unopened bottles, which is far longer than most independent merchants. To be eligible, items must be unopened, unused and in their original packaging. Return postage is arranged by you (we recommend a tracked service), and once we've received and inspected the return we'll refund your original payment method within five business days. Sale items and gift cards can't be returned.

Every order is packed in specialist wine packaging built for safe transit, so breakages are rare — and fully covered when they do happen.
