White Vermouth from El Bandarra, Terra Alta
El Bandarra takes its name from a legendary 18th-century Catalan folk hero — a bandit who stole from the rich and gave to the poor, and whose spirit of rebellion and character infuses this distinctive white vermouth. Made in the Terra Alta region of southern Catalonia, where some of the world's oldest Garnacha Blanca vines produce aromatic, mineral white grapes, El Bandarra Blanco captures the character of this unique appellation in a thoroughly modern vermut format.
Floral and aromatic on the nose with citrus blossom, white flowers and a hint of Mediterranean herbs, the palate delivers the characteristic bitter herb complexity of great vermouth with a refreshing, clean finish. Outstanding served over ice with a slice of orange as a solo aperitif, or used as the vermouth component in a classic Dry Martini or White Negroni.
