About the producer

Bodegas Lustau was founded in 1896 when José Ruiz-Berdejo began ageing sherry on his Jerez estate as an almacenista — a small stockholder selling on to the great houses. His son-in-law Emilio Lustau took the wines abroad, and since 2000 the firm has aged its soleras in six restored nineteenth-century bodegas in the centre of Jerez.
