Rosé Wine · 61 wines

Chilled, but not frozen. Around 8°C to 10°C keeps the fruit and the acidity in balance — much colder and you lose the aromatics. An hour in the fridge is about right.

Generally yes — most rosé is made to be enjoyed within a year or two of the vintage, while it's fresh and bright. A few fuller, more structured styles will hold longer, but as a rule there's little to gain from keeping it.

Most modern rosé — particularly the pale styles from Provence and the south of France — is dry, crisp and refreshing. Deeper-coloured rosés can be fruitier, and White Zinfandel is properly sweet. If you're unsure, the flavour profile on each wine's page shows where it sits on the dry-to-sweet scale.
