Champagne, Prosecco & Sparkling Wine · 57 wines

All three are sparkling, but they differ by origin and method. Champagne (France) is bottle-fermented in the traditional method, giving fine bubbles and bready, complex flavours. Cava (Spain) uses the same method at a friendlier price. Prosecco (Italy) is tank-made, lighter, fruitier and softer. English sparkling, made the traditional way, now rivals Champagne itself.

Non-vintage Champagne is ready to drink and best enjoyed within three or four years. Vintage bottles will reward longer keeping. Either way, store on its side somewhere cool and dark, away from light and temperature swings.

Between 8°C and 10°C. Around three hours in the fridge, or twenty minutes in a bucket of ice and water — which chills more evenly than ice alone. Avoid the freezer, as it dulls the aromatics.

We offer a 365-day return policy — a full year to return unopened bottles, which is far longer than most independent merchants. To be eligible, items must be unopened, unused and in their original packaging. Sale items and gift cards can't be returned.

Every order is packed in specialist wine packaging built for safe transit, so breakages are rare — and fully covered when they do happen. If anything arrives damaged, take a few photos and send them to hello@vinoshop.co.uk. We'll send you a return label and get a fresh replacement on its way as soon as the return reaches us. No fuss.
