This vibrant and aromatic blend of 80% Chenin Blanc and 20% Viognier offers subtle perfumed aromas of white peach, jasmine, and a hint of stone fruit. On the palate, the wine delivers fresh citrus flavours and fleshy white stone fruit, perfectly balanced by bright, lively acidity. A crisp finish, with a touch of minerality, provides a deliciously flavoursome and characterful experience that lingers. The wild yeast fermentation of part of the Chenin Blanc, coupled with extended lees ageing, enhances the wine’s concentration and depth, resulting in a well-rounded palate.

Crafted with Care

The grapes for this wine are sourced from 30+ year-old trellised Chenin Blanc and 15-year-old Viognier vines, mainly from the Swartland vineyards in South Africa’s Coastal region. The area’s perfect climate—low rainfall during summer, cool afternoons, and cold winters—allows the vines to thrive and build up the reserves needed for quality fruit. Part of the Chenin Blanc undergoes wild yeast fermentation and is aged on its lees, creating a rounded palate with excellent fruit concentration and complexity.
